Moon Metaverse presents players with seemingly limitless possibilities! The globe is now live and we have been receiving plenty of questions about resources. Some need no introduction whilst others may be unfamiliar. Read on to learn more about them.

Each of Moon’s Hexs holds a selection of resources that change based on location. It’s important to remember that each resource is essential in some way and that it is up to the player to make the most of what they have. If your Hex doesn’t have one of the resources you were looking for, it’s likely that there will be another way to obtain it in-game.

Some resources are common, others are rare. Regardless of rarity, each one opens a gateway into the most engrossing and strategic metaverse yet!

Helium-3

There is very little helium-3 available on Earth, making it extremely valuable there. However, the Moon has been bombarded with large quantities of helium-3 by solar winds and has an almost unlimited supply of it. It has great potential for use as a fuel.

Iron

The most common element on earth by mass, iron is also easy to find in space. It has a range of properties that make it incredibly useful in a wide range of industries. For example, it will deform under pressure, meaning it’s easy to work with and shape.

Crystal

One of the Moon’s rarest resources, crystal will have several uses. Importantly, it will be key to unlocking the potential found in other rare elements and cutting-edge technologies.

Titanium

Titanium is an exotic metal that possesses a unique combination of mechanical, chemical, and physical properties. Titanium is as strong as steel but much less dense. It is therefore important as an alloying agent with many metals, including iron. It comes at a reasonably high price and requires special tools to fabricate the metal.

Regolith

A mixture of powdery dust and the broken rock from meteorite impacts, regolith is another important resource for maintaining life on the Moon. In addition to being able to extract water particles from it, it is also composed of 45% oxygen.

Moonlanders will mainly use regolith to build houses for protection from the dangers of space radiation and the constant bombardment of micro-meteorites. It can also be used as soil to grow food and plants, making it essential for ensuring an easy-to-maintain source of nutrients.

Stone

Rock or other hard substances formed of mineral matter. Stone is a very common material used for building because it is hard-wearing and inexpensive.

Water

Due to the lack of atmosphere, there is no liquid water on the Moon. However, scientists have found ice water in the satellite’s cold and permanently shadowed craters.

Areas with the largest concentration of craters will likely become some of Moon Metaverses’ most populated NFT plots. Water is not only essential for sustaining life, but also for performing lunar mining and ensuring spacecraft are fully functioning.

Thorium

Thorium is a naturally occurring radioactive metal that is found in soil, rock, and water. It is formed by the radioactive decay of uranium and can be used as a source of nuclear power.

Mystery

We all love a good mystery and this resource will remain one until launch! All we can say is that it has the potential to turn into completely unexpected things. You could gain anything from gameplay boosts and perks to completely unique buildings, blueprints, and quests.
