Finally, Explore What We Have Only Witnessed
The Earth and Moon are gravitationally locked. Their rotations are so in sync we only ever see one side of the Moon. Humans didn’t see the ‘dark side’ until 1959 when a Soviet spacecraft flew past. In Moon, community-wide exploratory expeditions will ensure that the Moon’s mysteries won’t stay hidden for long.
Make it Habitable
The Moon has a very thin, weak atmosphere called an exosphere. It is not breathable, and its lack of water cannot currently support life. It is the community’s goal to turn lunar desolation into a fully-functioning colony, any way they can. However, a functioning colony doesn’t necessarily make it a safe one! Our players’ ability to negotiate and willingness to, or not to work together will have a huge, lasting impact.
Create Sustainability and Emerging Markets
In order to create a sustainable environment on the Moon, great lengths will need to be taken to open up viable trade routes to and from the satellite.
